On June 18th I went in for open surgery with Dr. Treen for a left inguinal hernia. Within 2 weeks I was back to doing normal activities. Keep in mind recovery is little painful and it takes little work on your part, but today is July 7th and I feel great. In my case he went in for 1 hernia, but found 2. He took care of both of them with one mesh. You could say that he fixed two hernias for the price of one, but don’t tell him that—LOL. That being said, he did excellent work. He also did an excellent work for my wife with laparoscopic bariatric surgery. He’s an excellent surgeon and I highly recommend him.

I was referred to Dr Treen from Dr Pippin in McComb Mississippi. I’m grateful to both physicians because I suffered for 25 years before Dr. Treen performed surgery. I had immediate relief from all my symptoms. I wish all physicians would recognize and refer to the appropriate physician/surgeon when needed to help their patients , not continually have them come back to their clinics over and over year after year suffering while continuing taking the prescribed medications that do not work. Many GI conditions that are not treated properly over many years cause complications that will be with patients for the rest of their life. After seeing several doctors who did not know how to treat a sports hernia, we found Dr. Treen. He agreed surgery was the only option for my daughter to heal completely and be able to continue to be active and play beach volleyball again. The surgery went very smoothly, and she had very little pain. Her recovery has been very easy! I’m so glad we found him! I highly recommend him!!!!
